Last updated: June 2025
1. About Dashli
Dashli turns Excel and CSV files into dashboards, reports, tables, charts, shareable links, and simple web apps. This Privacy Policy explains what information Dashli collects and how it is used, shared, stored, retained, and deleted.
2. Account and Login Data
When you create or use a Dashli account, we may collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number when provided
- Authentication provider and login details
- Account role, workspace membership, and subscription status
We use this information to create and secure your account, authenticate sign-ins, create your workspace, manage access, provide account features, and support you. Password authentication is handled by our authentication provider and Dashli does not store plain-text passwords.
3. Google Login Data
If you choose to sign in with Google, Dashli may receive basic account information such as your name and email address. This information is used only to create and secure your Dashli account, provide access to your dashboard workspace, and support account-related features.
Dashli does not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, calendar, or other Google content through the standard Google sign-in flow.
4. Uploaded Files and Dashboard Data
When you upload a file or create a dashboard, Dashli may process and store:
- File name, type, size, storage reference, and sheet names
- Excel or CSV columns, rows, and values
- Parsed data, dashboard configuration, and edited data
- Charts, summary cards, sharing settings, and workspace access settings
This information is used only to provide Dashli features such as file management, dashboard generation, tables, charts, reports, exports, and public or private sharing. You remain responsible for the files and data you upload.
5. Contact and Support Data
When you contact Dashli, we may collect your name, email, phone number, company, subject, message, screenshots, and other information you choose to provide. We use this information to answer questions, provide support, investigate issues, and improve the service.
6. How Dashli Uses Data
Dashli uses collected information to:
- Securely sign users in and manage accounts
- Create and manage personal or company workspaces
- Process uploaded files and generate dashboards
- Enable report sharing, export, and collaboration
- Manage subscriptions and manual payment confirmations
- Provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve Dashli
Dashli does not sell your personal data, uploaded files, or dashboard data.
7. Data Sharing and Service Providers
Dashli does not share personal information for advertising. We may share information with service providers only as needed to operate Dashli, including providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, file storage, email delivery, analytics, deployment, and security. These providers may include Supabase, Vercel, Google for authentication, and similar infrastructure providers.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or Dashli, or with your direction, such as when you intentionally make a dashboard public or invite workspace members.
8. Public Links and Workspace Access
Dashboards are private unless you choose another visibility setting. If you make a dashboard public, anyone with its public link may view the dashboard data. Workspace members may access data according to their assigned roles and permissions.
Review dashboard content and workspace permissions before sharing.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account information, uploaded files, dashboard data, support requests, subscription records, and security logs for as long as needed to provide Dashli, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support users.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account and data. Some records may remain temporarily in backups or be retained when required for legal, security, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
10. Security and Your Choices
Dashli uses reasonable safeguards such as authentication controls, private file storage, database access policies, role-based permissions, and server-side authorization checks. No online service can guarantee complete security.
You can choose whether to use Google sign-in, whether to upload files, who can access a workspace, and whether a dashboard is private, workspace-visible, or public.
