Refund Policy
How refunds, cancellations, and subscription activation work.

1. About Dashli Subscriptions
Dashli is a software platform that allows users to upload Excel and CSV files and convert them into dashboards, charts, tables, and shareable web pages.
Dashli may offer different plans such as Free, Starter, Pro, Business, or custom plans.
Each plan may include different limits, such as:
- Number of dashboards
- Maximum file size
- Public sharing
- Team members
- Workspaces
- Custom branding
- Data export
- Dashboard customization
2. Manual Payment Activation
Dashli may use manual payment activation.
This means payments may be completed outside the platform, such as by:
- Cash
- BenefitPay
- Bank transfer
- Other agreed payment methods
After payment is confirmed, a Dashli administrator manually activates or extends the subscription.
Paid features are not guaranteed until payment has been received and the subscription has been activated by an administrator.
3. When the Subscription Starts
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, your subscription period starts when your account is activated by a Dashli administrator, not necessarily when payment is sent.
For example, if payment is received on one day but the subscription is activated the next day, the subscription period starts from the activation date shown in your account.
4. Refunds
Unless otherwise stated in writing, payments are generally non-refundable once a subscription has been activated.
This is because Dashli provides immediate access to digital software features after activation.
Refunds may not be provided for:
- Change of mind
- Not using the account after activation
- Uploading the wrong file
- User error
- Not understanding how to use the platform
- Expired subscriptions
- Downgrades after activation
- Partial use of a subscription period
- Public sharing mistakes made by the user
- Data formatting issues caused by the uploaded file
5. Refund Exceptions
Dashli may review refund requests case by case.
A refund or partial refund may be considered if:
- Payment was made by mistake and the subscription was not activated
- Duplicate payment was made accidentally
- Dashli failed to activate the subscription after confirmed payment
- A technical issue caused by Dashli prevented access to the paid plan for a significant period
- Another exception is approved by Dashli in writing
Approval of a refund is at Dashli's discretion unless required by applicable law.
6. Cancellations
You may stop using Dashli at any time.
If you cancel or choose not to renew your subscription:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end date, if already activated
- No automatic refund is provided for the remaining period
- Your account may move to a Free, Expired, or View Only state after the subscription ends
- You may lose access to paid features
Because Dashli may use manual payment activation, cancellation may simply mean that you do not renew the subscription for the next period.
7. Expired Subscriptions
When a subscription expires, Dashli may restrict access to paid features.
Depending on platform settings and your plan:
- You may not be able to create new dashboards
- You may not be able to upload new files
- You may not be able to use team features
- You may not be able to publish new public links
- Your existing dashboards may remain view-only
- Public links may continue working or may be limited based on platform settings
Dashli does not guarantee that all paid features will remain available after expiry.
8. Downgrades and Plan Changes
If you downgrade your plan, some features or limits may change.
For example:
- Dashboard limits may be reduced
- File size limits may be reduced
- Team member access may be limited
- Branding or export features may be disabled
- Some dashboards may become view-only or locked
Downgrades do not automatically create a refund unless approved in writing.
If you upgrade your plan, the new limits and features will apply after the upgrade is confirmed and activated.
9. Manual Payment Errors
If you believe a payment, activation date, plan, or expiry date is incorrect, contact Dashli support as soon as possible.
You may be asked to provide proof of payment, such as:
- Receipt
- BenefitPay confirmation
- Bank transfer reference
- Screenshot of transaction
- Payment date and amount
Dashli may correct the subscription record if a mistake is confirmed.
10. Data After Cancellation or Expiry
Dashli is not intended to be your only storage location for important files.
You are responsible for keeping backup copies of your original files and exported data.
After cancellation or expiry:
- Your account data may remain stored for a period of time
- Some dashboards may remain view-only
- Some features may be disabled
- Data may be deleted later according to Dashli's retention practices or upon request, where allowed
You may request data deletion by contacting support.
11. Technical Issues
If you experience a technical issue, contact Dashli support with details.
Please include:
- Your account email
- Description of the issue
- Screenshot or screen recording if possible
- File type and size if the issue relates to upload
- Time and date of the issue
Dashli will try to investigate and resolve reported issues. A technical issue does not automatically qualify for a refund unless it significantly prevents use of the paid service and is caused by Dashli.
12. No Guarantee of Specific Results
Dashli helps generate dashboards from uploaded files, but results may vary depending on file quality, formatting, structure, and data.
Refunds are not normally provided because:
- A file is poorly formatted
- A dashboard needs manual adjustment
- Charts are not exactly as expected
- The uploaded data is incomplete or incorrect
- The user expected a custom system outside the plan features
Users are responsible for reviewing dashboards and confirming the results before relying on them.

14. Changes to This Policy
Dashli may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
If we make important changes, we may notify users through the platform, by email, or by another reasonable method.
Your continued use of Dashli after changes means you accept the updated policy.
